"It must have been pretty wonderful to have lived in the years, say between 1870 and 1914, when peace was the normal condition and people were really appalled at the idea of war and believed there'd never be a big one. A big one was impossible, they used to say. It would cost to much. It would disrupt world trade and bankrupt everybody. Even after the first war people didn't accept war as normal."
- From the book 'Alas, Babylon' by Pat Frank.
"Jesus' last words on the cross, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" hardly seem like the words of a man who planned it that way. It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure there is something wrong here." -"Rev." Donald Morgan "Such a weird belief. Lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. You think when Jesus comes back he's gonna want to see a fucking cross, man?" -Bill Hicks "Half of life is fucking up - the other half is dealing with it." -Henry Rollins i dont like weezer but deftones redid one of there songs and now i love this song it's called Say It Ain't So you can find live versions on audiogalaxy. Somebody's Heine' is crowdin' my icebox Somebody's cold one is givin' me chills Guess I'll just close my eyes Flip on the tele' Wrestle with Jimmy Something is bubbling Behind my back The bottle is ready to blow *Chorus*-Say it ain't so Your drug is a heartbreaker Say it ain't so My love is a lifetaker I can't confront you I never could do That which might hurt you So try and be cool When I say This way is a waterslide away from me that takes you further every day So be cool Chorus Dear Daddy, I write you in spite of years of silence. You've cleaned up, found Jesus, things are good or so I hear. This bottle of Steven's awakens ancient feelings. Like father, stepfather, the son is drowning in the flood. Chorus
This song is cool 2 listen 2 when your depressed cause it starts out slow and then somway it gets you in a happy mood by the end. ~ ~ ~ ~ Song by Tool called The Patient. A groan of tedium escapes me, startling the fearful. Is this a test? It has to be. Otherwise I can't go on. Draining patience. drain vitality. this paranoid, paralyzed vampire act's a little old. But I'm still right here, giving blood and keeping faith. And I'm still right here. But I'm still right here, giving blood and keeping faith. And I'm still right here. I'm gonna wait it out If there were no rewards to reap, no loving embrace to see me through this tedious path I've chosen here, I certainly would've walked away by now. I'm gonna wait it out If there were no desire to heal The damaged and broken met along this tedious path I've chosen here, I certainly would've walked away by now. I still may. And I still may. Be patient. I must keep reminding myself of this... If there were no rewards to reap, no loving embrace to see me through this tedious path I've chosen here, I certainly would've walked away by now. And I still may. And I still may. And I still may. I'm gonna wait it out. I'm gonna wait it out. Gonna wait it out. Gonna wait it out.
This song is a really nice slow song. Maynards voice is so awsome. BUT, lyrical wise its also awsome. I can't explain the feeling i get when i hear it. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Kreap Empire is just a title. A title for our band, but it can be used to descride anything wether it being American, China(comunism), or just people in general. Or the drug empire. We are not anarchists. Anarchists are dipshits who don't believe in anything, it was started up by some dipshit who wanted it 2 become a religion. The government and our police is so backwards and messed, police make mistakes cause they are people too, its our jobs 2 fuck up. They pick on kids, and the poor. They go after small marijauna dealers and kids with alcohol while they let the big dealers go, somtimes taking bribes or not even messing with them. Some police even sell drugs or use them themselves. Drug money is used to rig elections and train brutal corporate sponsored dictators around the world. Kennedy was involved with the mafia who was involved with drugs. Bush probably smoked crack. Clinton smoked weed. Hypicrits. People disgust me. People=disease, ever see the matrix where the guy compares humans to disease? Its sickens me how lazy and indepent our we have become. |

"Supreme Court says pornography is anything without artistic merit that causes sexual thought, that's their definition, essentially. No artistic merit, causes sexual thought. Hmm. Sounds like...every commercial on television, doesn't it? You know, when I see those two twins on that Doublemint commercial? I'm not thinking of gum. I am thinking of chewing, maybe that's the connection they're trying to make. What? You've all seen that Busch beer commercial, where the girl in the short hot pants opens the beer bottle on her belt buckle, leaves it there, and it foams over her hand and over the bottle and the voice over goes, "Get yourself a BUSCH." Hmm. You know what that looks like, nah, no way. " - Bill Hicks "I was in Nashville, Tennesee last year, after the show I went to a Waffle House, I'm not proud of it, I was hungry. And I'm alone, I'm eating and I'm reading a book, right? Waitress walks over to me, "Tch tch tch tch. Hey, what you readin' for?" Is that like the weirdest fucking question you've ever heard? Not what am I reading, but what am I reading for. Well, godammit, you stumped me. Why do I read? Well... hmmm... I guess I read for a lot of reasons, and the main one is so I don't end up being a fucking waffle waitress." - Bill Hicks A poem by Serj Tankian of Sytem of a Down. It's entitled Friik (yes with 2 i's) What's my problem, Here's my problem, My problem is that I'm Too visual to be blind, Too audiological to be deaf, Too ideological to be in peace, Too compassionate to be in war, Too crazy to be sane, To sane to be lazy, Too emotional to be you If I could only stop my head, From going into constant infection, Then maybe I can swim back To my own version of consistent sanity. Angelic daemons, Liquid dreams, Transparent mountains Of our own reality. Burning oceans, Melting faces, Melting faces, Why! This poem relates 2 me alot. ~ ~ ~ ~ |

"We gotta come to some new ideas about life folks ok? I'm not being blase about abortion, it might be a real issue, it might not, doesn't matter to me. Cause what matters is..If you beleive in the sanctity of life, then you believe it for life of all ages. That's what I hate about this child-worship syndrome going on. "Save the children..They're killing children...how many children were at Waco?..They're killing children"..What does that mean? They reach a certain age and they're off your fucking love-list? Fuck your children, if that's the way you think then fuck you too. You either love all people of all ages or you shut the fuck up." - Bill Hicks This is by Belle Plaine's own Tommy Drahos. Life is like monopoly, the more you play the more it sucks. I could say some of the smartist people are right under your nose, that doesn't go with this so.... ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ A quote from Hatebreed's song called Before Dishoner. What I have in my heart I'll take too my grave. People don't give this band any credit, it is unbelievable how smart the singer is. With a hardcore band plus a band name named Hatebreed people come with a closed mind. But the lyrics are pretty deep and intense just like the kick ass fuckin' MUSIC!
~ ~ ~ ~ A verse from a Sytem of a Down song called DDevil(yes it has two d's) Stupid people do stupid things, smart people out smart each other, then themselves, then themselves, then themselves, then themselves.
This quote, means alot. And its the truth, in everyway. One being in technology, people are gonna keep make somthing better than the last until somone who is just as smart maybe smarter hacks into it or somhow fucks the world over or even destroys it. ~ ~ ~ ~ | |
